English II
Course of Study ENG 201
This 10th grade English course will focus on the study of English and World Literature, the development of writing, research, reading, and speaking skills, vocabulary, grammar, and workplace skills. Students will read various written works and will examine, analyze, and write about what they have discovered.
Throughout the year we will be studying grammar, spelling, vocabulary, reading, and writing techniques. The students will be expected to utilize all learned skills in all assignments whether in homework, in class writing, or in projects. The only way to master the English language is to properly practice what we have learned and then build on what we have mastered.
