English II Honors

Course of Study ENG 201-H

Tenth Grade Honors English is a rigorous course focusing on the study of World Literature, the development of writing, research, reading, and speaking skills, vocabulary, grammar, and workplace skills. Students will read various written works, both fiction and non-fiction, and will examine, analyze, and write about what they have discovered.

Throughout the year we will be studying grammar, spelling, vocabulary, and writing techniques. The students will be expected to utilize all learned skills in all assignments whether in homework, in class writing, or in longer writing projects. The only way to master the English language is to properly practice what we have learned and then build on what we have mastered.
