Mathematics

“For since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities – His eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.” Romans 1:20

The mission of the Mathematics Department is to build, with students, the mathematical foundations necessary for deeper understanding of the Creator through the world He has created. Basic Maths, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus and Calculus are subject areas provided to this end. All courses are guided by the California State Mathematics Content Standards and, most importantly, the desire to know our Lord more intimately!

There are several paths of education that may be chosen. Some of which include:

  • Path 1 – Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus
  • Path 2 – Basic Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry
  • Path 3 – Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus
